What is wind

What is wind?
Wind is air that moves.

In what ways is the wind helpful?
We use it for sports like sailing which is really helpful because you go faster with wind and wind surfing. It is also helpful for flying kites and drying the laundry.

"There are occasions though, when the wind is so strong ..." What does occasions mean here?
It means when there is a problem.

What is another name for tornado?
Twister

What speeds can tornadoes reach?
500 kilometres per hour.

"A whirling funnel of cool air..." What does funnel mean here?
It means a small tube that is wide it is used for liquid or powder.

From the story how do we know that cool air is heavier than warm air?
