Finding the percentage

Find 50% of each of these numbers:
1. 10= 10 x 1/2 = 5
2. 14= 14 x 1/2 = 7
3. 26= 26 x 1/2 = 13
4. 38= 38 x 1/2 = 19
5. 100= 100 x 1/2 = 50
6. 76= 76 x 1/2 = 38
7. 94= 94 x 1/2 = 47
8. 88= 88 x 1/2 = 39
9. 1000= 1000 x 1/2 = 500
10. 150= 150 x 1/2 = 75
11. 500= 500 x 1/2 = 250
12. 750= 750 x 1/2= 375

Find 25% of each of these numbers:

1. 12= 12 x 1/4 = 3
2. 28= 28 x 1/4 = 7
3. 48 = 48 x 1/4 = 12
4. 80= 80 x 1/4 = 20
5. 100= 100 x 1/4 = 25
6. 120= 120 x 1/4 = 30
7. 180= 180 x 1/4 = 45
8. 240= 240 x 1/4 = 60
9. 1000= 1000 x 1/4 = 250
10. 400= 400 x 1/4 = 100
11. 800= 800 x 1/4 = 200
12. 10= 10 x 1/4 = 2.5

Find 75% of each of these numbers;
1. 16 = 16 x 3/4 = 12
2. 32 = 32 x 3/4 = 24
3. 60 = 60 x 3/4 = 45
4. 80 = 80 x 3/4 = 60
5. 100 = 100 x 3/4 = 75
6. 160 = 160 x 3/4 = 120
7. 200 = 200 x 3/4 = 150
8. 360 = 360 x 3/4 =  270
9. 1000 = 1000 x 3/4 = 750
10. 400 = 400 x 3/4 = 300
11. 880 = 880 x 3/4 = 690
12. 10= 10 x 3/4 = 7.5

There were 32 children in the class.
A. 50% were boys.
How many girls were in the class?
16 girls.
B. 25% were left-handed.
How  many were left-handed?
8 left-handed students.
How many were right-handed?
24 Right-handed students ( 32 - 8 =  24)
C. 75% had brown eyes.
How many had brown eyes?
24 students with brown eyes ( 32 x 3/4 = 24)
